Lesson Information

Lessons are 30 minutes long and take place between the following times:

• Monday 1700-1930

• Wednesday 1700-1900

• Thursday 1700-1900

All Lessons take place in the pool at City of London Academy Highbury Grove School.

You will note there is no booking form on the website, this is because lesson quality is first and foremost. Availability is completely dependent on the assessment session. Please see below for further details.

Lessons are in small ability groups (Maximum 4). Lessons are offered after a quick five minute swim assessment in the pool.

It is vital to assess ability before offering a session to ensure the best experience possible for your child. The first full lesson will also count as an assessment without any commitment to continue. That way we can be sure that the lesson is just right for your child and you!

Lessons are booked and paid for by the term. Term dates broadly follow Islington Term Dates, although may sometimes differ due to pool availability.

Lessons are not transferrable. Lessons missed by you are not refundable.

A personal bugbear of mine is lack of transparency about lesson costs. Here are the rates upfront:

• 1:1 £40 per swimmer per half hour.

• 2:1 £26 per swimmer per half hour.

• 3:1 £22 per swimmer per half hour.

• 4:1 £20 per swimmer per half hour.
